Men’s Basketball to Play Robert Morris in Hurricane Relief Exhibition

KENT, Ohio- The Kent State University men's basketball team has added an exhibition game against Robert Morris Sunday, Oct. 21 at 12 p.m. in the M.A.C. Center to benefit hurricane relief efforts.
Kent State announced Monday its Oct. 21 closed scrimmage against Robert Morris at the M.A.C. Center was changed to an exhibition game. The game, set to begin at 12 p.m., will raise funds to help with relief efforts for those impacted by Hurricanes Florence and Michael.
The exhibition game is open to the public. Tickets will be sold at the doors for $5 with general admission seating, with doors opening at 11 a.m.
The exhibition will be the first chance for fans to get a look at the 2018-19 team in a live game. Kent State returns eight players from last year's team, including three starters and seven newcomers.
The Robert Morris Colonials are coming off a 16-17 2017-18 season after advancing to the Northeast Conference semifinals.
