KENT, Ohio- The No. 4 Kent State women's golf team will travel north of the Windy City in search of a third consecutive victory over an elite field at the Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah Oct. 7-8.

Tuesday, Oct. 8- Third Round- Play starts at 9 a.m. CT in a shotgun start format

Last season, the Flashes finished second at the Illini Women's Invitational with a 23-under score. Michaela Finn and Stormo were named co-champions of the tournament and scored a 9-under 207. Kent State had a record-setting first day of the tournament after the Flashes posted a season-low score and carded the No. 2 all-time team score (-11) for a combined score of 13-under par.
