
Rodriguez-Seto Earns All-Region Honors

KENT, OHIO- Kent State junior defending midfielder, Clara Rodriguez Seto has added Longstreth All-Region honors to her 2019 season accolades, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association.
Rodriguez Seto earned second team All-West region honors for the second-straight season, adding to her First-Team All-Mid American Conference honors bestowed upon her earlier this season.
The junior had her best offensive season to date, leading the Golden Flashes with a team and conference leading 24 points on the year. The Barcelona, Spain native found the back of the net eight times on the year, including three game-winners. She also made her presence felt on the defensive side, again leading the team and the conference with six defensive saves.
Rodriguez-Seto helped the Golden Flashes to a 11-9 overall record, their first double-digit win campaign since 2016. Kent State also won the MAC regular season with a 5-1 record, marking the eighth-straight season Kent State has had one or fewer losses in conference play.
