Oakley Releases 2019 Fall Softball Schedule

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University softball team has released its upcoming fall schedule, which will feature eight contests, as announced by head coach Eric Oakley.
The Golden Flashes will begin their fall schedule on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. with a doubleheader against Lawrence Tech and Saginaw Valley State. Kent State will play LTU at 10 a.m. and SVSU at 2 p.m. with the round-robin being played at Millington High School.
The roadtrip continues the following day, Sunday, Sept. 22 with a single game at Hillsdale scheduled for 12 p.m.
The following weekend KSU will travel to play a single game at Cleveland State on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. The Golden Flashes will return home to host the Fall Round Robin at the Diamond at Dix on Sunday, Sept. 29. The Flashes will play Ursuline at 10 a.m. and Wheeling at 2 p.m. Ursuline and Wheeling will play a neutral site game at 12 p.m.
This year's fall schedule wraps up with a pair of contests the first weekend of October. KSU hosts Akron and Walsh for a doubleheader on Sunday, Oct. 6. The first game against the Zips will begin at 10 a.m. with a 12 p.m. start slated for a 10-inning affair against Walsh.
