Three January Nationally Televised Games Highlight MAC Schedule

KENT, OHIO- The Mid-American Conference announced the national basketball television schedule for the 2019-20 season this afternoon, which was highlighted by three nationally televised games in January for the Flashes.
Kent State will open MAC play on the road after New Years as the Flashes travel to Bowling Green on Friday, Jan. 3 where they will play the first of three January nationally televised games. The contest against the Falcons will air at 9 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
The Flashes hit the spotlight on the road again as Kent State faces Buffalo on Friday, Jan. 24, a game which will air at 6:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
Kent State will close out the month of January as rival Akron visits the M.A.C. Center on Friday, Jan. 31. Tipoff is slated at 6:30 p.m. and will air on CBS Sports Network.
Both CBS Sports Network and ESPN have four additional nationally televised slots in February and early March with those games to be selected as part of the 21-day wildcard selection process.
This year's MAC Men's Basketball Tournament will begin Monday, March 9th with first round games on campus before moving to Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse (March 12-14). The MAC Men's Basketball Semifinal games will once again air on CBS Sports Network, while the Championship Game will be played on Saturday, March 14th (ESPN2).
