Bennett’s Basket a SportsCenter Top Moment

KENT, Ohio- Despite the unusual finish to the 2019-20 basketball season, there were still plenty of memorable moments to look back at, including center Kalin Bennett's first collegiate basket, landing his play on SportsCenter's Top-10 college basketball moments list.
Bennett, who is the first true freshman diagnosed with autism to sign a national letter of intent in Division I men's basketball, made his debut for the Kent State Golden Flashes in the season-opener against Hiram (Nov.6).
The 6-foot-11 freshman entered the game with six minutes remaining and made a left-handed hook shot in the post with 2:30 left in the game. Bennett's basket was No. 6 on the SportsCenter Top-10 moments list. In the 97-58 win over Hiram, Bennett finished with two points, two rebounds, and a block.
On the season, Bennett played in 17 games and had one start. He finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks.
