Gymnastics Completes Blue-Gold Scrimmage

(KENT, Ohio) - The Kent State women's gymnastics team completed its annual Blue-Gold scrimmage Sunday at the M.A.C. Center, with the Gold team coming out on top.
Junior Rachel DeCavitch won the all-around competition, with junior Olivia Amodei coming in second.
On vault, freshman Grace Wehry won the event, with four athletes tying for second place: DeCavitch, freshman Alyssa Guns, sophomore Izzy Geig, and sophomore Kyndall Gilbert.
Gilbert won on bars, with junior Karlie Franz and sophomore Sarah Haxton tying for second.
Senior Riley Danielson won the beam, with Wehry coming in second and senior Cami Klein coming in third.
On floor, first place went to Haxton, second place to Amodei, and third place to freshman Cheyenne Pratola.
The Golden Flashes will start the regular season at home on January 16, when they host Illinois and Northern Illinois.
