Carry Named Finalist for Lou Henson Award

Boston, Mass. – Sincere Carry was named a finalist for the Lou Henson Award, collegeinsider.com announced on Monday.
The Lou Henson National Player of the Year Award, which is presented annually to the top mid-major player in division I college basketball, honors the former Illinois and New Mexico State head coach who won 775 games in 41 seasons.
Carry was named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year after his outstanding performance this season. He helped the Golden Flashes to the MAC Championship game for the first time since 2017. Carry finished the season with 609 total points, the fifth-most in program history. He also finished with 162 assists on the season which ranks fourth most all-time in a single season.
