Off the court, the Golden Flashes were able to experience all that Australia has to offer from the Sydney Opera Hours, climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge and mingling with kangaroos and koala bears at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
It truly was the trip of a lifetime for these student-athletes and the team made memories that will last forever.
During the trip, the team also did some community service by hosting a youth camp at The Southport School. The Flashes worked out in front of the camp kids and then played knockout, ran drills and hung out with the kids afterwards. The Southport School presented the Golden Flashes with several Australia goodies, including their school gear, Tim Tams and other local treats.
