Gymnastics Releases 2023-24 Schedule

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State gymnastics team has released its 2023-24 season schedule, the team announced Thursday. Head Coach Brice Biggin's squad is set to compete in 12 regular-season meets with their sights on a return to the top of the Mid-American Conference and an NCAA Regionals berth.
Fans can see this year's team in action for the first time at the annual Blue-Gold meet on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 1 p.m.
After opening the regular season with a pair of road meets at Pitt on Saturday, Jan. 13, and the Tennessee Collegiate Classic the following Friday, the home season gets underway on Sunday, Jan. 28. The Golden Flashes welcome West Virginia to the M.A.C. Center for the first time since 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
Conference competition begins on Sunday, Feb. 4, when the Flashes face Ball State on the road at 1 p.m. Kent State hosts its first MAC meet of the season when Northern Illinois comes to town on Sunday, Feb. 11.
Following three road meets at George Washington, Central Michigan and Ohio State, the Flashes return to the M.A.C. Center on Sunday, March 3, to host Eastern Michigan at 1 p.m. Two weeks later, the Flashes wrap up the home schedule when they face Bowling Green at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 17.
Kent State will travel to Muncie, Ind., for the 2024 MAC Championships, hosted by Ball State, on Saturday, March 24. Ten days later, NCAA Regionals will take place between April 3 and 7 at six predetermined sites, with the top two teams and the top two all-around competitors who are not on an advancing team move on to the 2024 NCAA Championships in Ft. Worth, Texas.
