Flashes Announce Exciting Wrestling Promotional Schedule

KENT- The Golden Flashes have an exciting and electrifying promotion schedule in store for the 2023-24 home wrestling schedule.
The fun starts on Friday, December 8th for the Kent State Quad as the Flashes welcome in Gannon, Mount Union and VMI for a 1pm start. The Snowball Showdown features a Kent State Holiday Sweater Ornament giveaway as well as an ugly sweater contest. The home opener will also be our Kent State faculty and staff appreciation day with one free ticket for employees AND a guest for the event. With the 1pm start, there will also be lunchtime specials and combos available at the concession stand.
The Flashes return home for the annual grudge match with Ohio University on Friday, February 9th. Â It will be Flashes' Fight Night and a powder blue out. There will be a replica singlet tank-top giveaway as well as boneless wings to enjoy during the match. Kent State will also welcome back wrestling alumni for their annual reunion. Fans are encouraged to get to the MAC early for the giveaways and to take advantage of a pre-match happy hour.
A week later, the Flashes welcome in Central Michigan on Friday, February 16th. It will be our Senior Rumble night as we celebrate our senior class throughout the dual. There will be a crew neck sweatshirt giveaway to our fans and another pre-match happy hour at the concession stands.
The regular season wraps up with Cleveland State coming to town on Thursday, February 22nd. It will be camper reunion night as we welcome back campers across all sports. There will be a Kent State beanie giveaway as well as a post-match autograph session.
