
Eleven Flashes Garner Academic All-MAC Recognition

CLEVELAND – The Kent State University women's soccer team had 11 student-athletes represented on the Academic All-MAC Team for the 2023 season, the Mid-American Conference office announced Wednesday.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in both athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
In total, 129 student-athletes from around the conference garnered Academic All-MAC recognition.
Kent State's All-MAC honorees are:
- Sarah Melén, Graduate Student, Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics, 3.992 GPA
- Giulia Giovinazzi, Sr., Exercise Science, 3.933 GPA
- Alisa Arthur, Jr., General Business, 3.927 GPA
- Dalaney Ranallo, Sr., Accounting, 3.906 GPA
- Luca Ralph, Sr., Fashion Merchandising, 3.860 GPA
- Taylor English, So., Interior Design, 3.823 GPA
- Callie Cunningham, Sr., Psychology, 3.569 GPA
- Mary Kate Lape, So., Nursing, 3.453 GPA
- Tori Copfer, Jr., Integrated Language Arts, 3.353 GPA
- Kelsey Salopek, So., General Business, 3.342 GPA
- Joey Skillen, Jr., Nursing, 3.321 GPA
