Flashes Come Up Short Against NIU

Kent, OH – Kent State fell 23-19 to Northern Illinois on Thursday in the Field House.
Jordan Decatur won by technical fall 20-3 in 5:22. Billy Meiszner continued his hot streak with a 14-0 win. Holden Martin won a 13-2 major decision. Carson Miller and Brentan Simmerman both won by decision.
The Flashes are in action today with the Kent State Open and will be back in action after the holiday break. The Flashes will open the 2025 portion of their schedule on January 3 against Purdue at 6:00PM. The match will be at the MAC Center and plastic Kent State Wrestling water bottles will be given away to the first 125 fans.
