Jalen Sullinger Named Third Team All-MAC; VonCameron Davis Earns All-MAC Honorable Mentions

CLEVELAND, OH - Jalen Sullinger and VonCameron Davis of the Kent State men's basketball team were recognized by the Mid-American Conference on Wednesday when the league announced its annual awards. Sullinger earned a spot on the All-MAC Third Team and VonCameron Davis was named All-MAC Honorable Mention.
Sullinger has now earned back-to-back Mid-American Conference awards after being named Sixth Man of the Year last season. Sullinger has been the offensive leader for the Flashes all season, averaging 15.1 points per game and 16.3 points per game in MAC play (the seventh-highest mark in the conference). Sullinger has recorded double-digits points in 16 of the Flashes' MAC games, including 30 point performances against Bowling Green and Buffalo. Sullinger recorded a career-high of eight threes made against Buffalo.  Â
Davis earned his first Mid-American Conference Award. Davis has been a key player for the Flashes, scoring double-digits in every single MAC game this season. Davis averages 13.4 points per game while shooting 47.3 percent from the field. He has recorded four 20+ point games.Â
The Golden Flashes will travel to Cleveland tomorrow for the MAC Tournament as the No. 8 seed where they play No. 1 seed Toledo. The game will be the first one of the day and will start at 11 a.m. ET. Tomorrow's game will be available on ESPN+.
