Trio Earns Academic All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND, OH – The Kent State University men's basketball team had three student-athletes represented on the Academic All-MAC Team for the 2024 season, the Mid-American Conference office announced Wednesday.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in both athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
In total, 14 student-athletes from around the conference earned Academic All-MAC recognition. Kent State was tied for the most student-athletes in the MAC honored with this award.
Kent State's All-MAC honorees are:

Mike Bekelja, Junior, Master of Business Administration, 3.42 GPA

Magnus Entenmann, Sophomore, Business Management, 3.56 GPA

Julius Rollins, R-Sophomore, Communication, 3.37 GPA
