Flashes Land Six on Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND - The Golden Flashes placed six wrestlers on the Academic All-MAC Team, the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom and on the wrestling mat. To qualify, a student athlete must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA, be of sophomore standing or higher and participated in 50 percent or more of the contests during the wrestling season. First-year transfer student-athletes are not eligible for the honor. The full list of the Kent State honorees is below:
1. Ethan Barr, Soph, Sports Admin, 3.66
2. Nico Calello, Soph, Phys Ed. 3.42
3. Pablo Castro IV, Soph, Aerospace Engineering, 3.87
4. Billy Meiszner, Soph, Entrepreneurship, 3.51
5. Blake Schaffer, Soph, Finance, 3.54
6. Kaden Setzer, Soph, Construction Management, 3.23
