
Kent State Softball Student-Athletes Named to CSC Academic All-District® Team

KENT, Ohio – Four members of the Kent State softball team were named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Team, the College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.
Juniors Delaney Robeson and Savannah Wing for the second year in a row, while sophomores Bri Despines and Macy Irelan also represented the Golden Flashes in their first season of eligibility for the honor.
The CSC Academic All-District® team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. In order to be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have completed at least one full year at the nominating institution, reached sophomore athletic status and be starter or key reserve while maintaining at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 18.
