KENT, Ohio — Kent State Men's Basketball has finalized its non-conference schedule for the 2025-2026 season.
The Golden Flashes will play 31 games total during their regular season schedule including 17 home games inside the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center. KSU's 17 home games will be the most in a season since the 2019-2020 season.
"We have put together another very challenging non-conference schedule for this upcoming year and I am excited about how many games we will get to play here at the M.A.C. Center.", said coach Senderoff. "For those that don't already know, the court in the M.A.C. Center will be renovated and updated, and to get to play 17 games here at home this year is awesome for our students, fans and our program. We are taking on a lot of teams that had excellent years last year along with playing the likely pre-season number one team in the nation in Purdue. I think the non-conference schedule will have us ready for MAC play and that will be as challenging as it always is. I can't wait to get the season started and hope we can get everyone here for our opener against a very good Troy team on Nov. 3."
The Blue and Gold opens the season with a trio of home games hosting Troy on Nov. 3 as part of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge, Cornell on Nov. 7, and UNC Wilmington on Nov. 10. Following the Greenbrier Tip-Off (Nov. 15-16) the Golden Flashes will have five straight home games beginning with Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 18.
Kent State then hosts Cleveland State on Nov. 22, which will be their second meeting of the season with the Vikings following their game at The Greenbrier. The Flashes then go on to host Penn State Shenango on Nov. 29, Austin Peay on Dec. 3, and Roberts Wesleyan on Dec. 6.
KSU will then travel across the country to take on Portland on Dec. 14 before opening their MAC schedule at UMass on Dec. 20. The Golden Flashes will then travel to Purdue on Dec. 29 prior to continuing their MAC schedule back home against NIU on Jan. 3. Kent State's final non-conference game will be the second round of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge on Feb. 7. Kent State's full conference schedule was released on Aug. 21.
Throughout the 2025-2026 school year, Kent State University will be celebrating the M.A.C. Center's 75th Anniversary.
