
Kent State Gymnastics Places Four on All-MAC Teams

Behner earns First Team honors on vault; Bingman, Schultz named to Second Team; Mast recognized on All-Freshman Team
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kent State gymnastics has four Golden Flashes named to All-MAC teams following the conclusion of the 2026 regular season, the league office announced.
Senior Charlie Behner earned All-MAC First Team honors on vault after posting a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 9.845 on the event. Behner recorded three event victories on vault during the regular season, including a season-high 9.900 in a tri-meet against West Virginia and Fisk on January 18, a 9.850 at the Ball State Tri-Meet on February 8, and a 9.850 against Bowling Green on March 1. Behner's 9.900 effort represents both her season high and career high on the event.
Jersey Bingman and Heidi Schultz each earned All-MAC Second Team recognition in their respective events. Bingman was tabbed on vault after recording a 9.835 NQS, while Schultz was honored on beam with a 9.850 NQS.
Bingman turned in three vault victories this season, opening with a season and career-high 9.875 against NIU on January 11 before adding a 9.850 at the Texas Woman's Quad Meet on February 22 and a 9.850 at Western Michigan on March 8.
Schultz was equally dominant on beam, posting three event wins of her own. She opened her beam win total with a 9.800 versus NIU on January 11 and matched that effort with a 9.850 against West Virginia and Fisk on January 18 before reaching her season high of 9.900 against Bowling Green on March 1. Schultz's career high on beam stands at 9.925.
Rounding out Kent State's All-MAC honorees is freshman Lana Mast, who was named to the All-Freshman Team on bars after posting a 9.745 NQS. Mast recorded a season and career-high 9.775 on bars on three separate occasions, doing so at the TWU Quad Meet on February 22, against Bowling Green on March 1, and at Western Michigan on March 8.
Kent State will compete at the MAC Championships in Bowling Green, Ohio, on March 21.
