Aaralyn Nogay Named MAC Player of the Week

CLEVELAND – Junior outfielder Aaralyn Nogay picked up her first Mid-American Conference weekly award of the 2026 season winning Player of the Week honors.
Nogay showcased for offensive skills this weekend leading the Golden Flashes to a three-game sweep of UMass to start 3-0 in MAC play for the first time since 2024. Over three games, she batted .714 racking up five hits, four RBIs, a triple and a home run. She also legged out a trio of stolen bases to bring her to 20 total so far this season. Nogay's 20 stolen bases have her sitting top 5 nationally.
This marks Kent State Softball's first conference weekly award of the 2025-2026 season, and Nogay's first as a Golden Flash.
