
Kent State Wrestling Leads MAC In All-Academic Honorees

Cleveland, Ohio- The Mid-American Conference announced their student-athletes named to the 2026 Wrestling Academic Team on Wednesday, recognizing the conference's top student athletes on the mat and in the classroom.
The Golden Flashes were the academic standard in the MAC this season as they led the conference for the second straight year with eight honorees. It was also the third time in four years that a Josh Moore-led program produced the conference's most All-Academic honorees.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests on the mat.
