KENT, Ohio – Kent State University is celebrating its official 24-hour Day of Giving Tuesday, April 14. Starting at midnight, all gifts to any Kent State University fund, including all Athletics funds, will be matched up to $250 per donor until matching funds run out.
All Kent State athletic teams will be competing against each other for the Green Lending Challenge. The program that has the most unique donors who give $25 or more that day will win the challenge gift of $1,000 courtesy of Green Lending, the exclusive mortgage partner of Kent State Athletics.
Beginning at 1 p.m. on April 14, every gift to an athletics fund will be matched up to $50 through the Bain Enterprises and Craig and Lori Wilhoit Impact Match until matching funds run out.
When you make a gift of $50 or more to any Kent State Athletics fund, you will earn a pair of "flashy" Kent State socks AND an exclusive Fearless Flash window cling (while supplies last).
Gifts to athletics teams can be made through each sport's giving page.
