Meadow Ferri Named MAC Pitcher of the Week

CLEVELAND – Freshman RHP Meadow Ferri picked up her first Mid-American Conference weekly award of the 2026 season winning Pitcher of the Week honors.
The Houston, Pa. native was the work horse for the Golden Flashes this past weekend taking a role in all three wins for Kent State. In the first game she earned her first career save slamming the door in inning seven as KSU won 7-6. Ferri then tossed her first complete game shutout that same day as Kent State won a quick 1-0 contest. She then started game three of the series allowing just four hits exiting at 4.0 before returning to close the game in the top of the seventh. Meadow Ferri posted an ERA of 0.00 on the weekend.
This marks Kent State Softball's second conference weekly award of the 2025-2026 season, and Ferri's career first.
