Golden Flashes Place Four on 2026 CSC Academic All-District® Softball Team

KENT – Four members of the Kent State softball team were named to the 2026 Academic All-District® Team, the College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.
Kent State's honorees include juniors Aaralyn Nogay, Ashlyn Porter, and Megan Claerhout, as well as sophomore Brooke Aberle. This is Nogay's second consecutive year as an honoree, and the first for Porter, Claerhout and Aberle.
The CSC Academic All-District® team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. In order to be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore athletic status and be starter or key reserve while maintaining at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
