Kent State Releases 2026 Cross Country Schedule

KENT, Ohio — The Kent State cross country teams will compete in four regular season meets in preparation for the 2026 Mid-American Conference Championships, as the schedule for this fall was announced on Wednesday.
The season begins on Sept. 4 at the Tommy Evans Invitational, which will be hosted by Akron at Silver Creek Cross Country Trails in Norton. The Golden Flashes will compete at Cedarville's All-Ohio Classic on Sept. 19. and then head out of state for the lone time during the regular season with a trip to Notre Dame for the Joe Piane Invitational on Oct. 2. Kent State will then head to Bowling Green for the Falcon Invitational on Oct. 18 as a final tune-up for the conference meet.
The 2026 MAC Championships is scheduled for Oct. 30 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Flashes will then compete at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships, hosted by the Michigan State University, on Nov. 13 and try to advance to the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana on Nov. 21.
