• Recorded a season personal-best time of 4:23.45 in the mile run at the Golden Flash Gala.

Prior to Kent State
• Received Academic All-Ohio honors as a senior at Stow-Munroe Falls High School
• Also received all-region honors and was a member of the SMFHS Northeast Ohio Conference River Division Cross Country Champions that same season for the Bulldogs
• Set the school record in the 1,600 meters with a time of 4:13.00
• Career-best in the 5K is 15:50.69
• Established personal-bests in the 800 meters (1:58.45) and 3,200 meters (9:28.00) for the Bulldogs
• Played basketball for three seasons before switching to distance running
• Crowned a regional champion in the 1,600 and placed third overall in the 3,200 meters as a senior
• Earned two letters in track and field and one in cross country.

• Father, who is Kent State’s Senior Associate Athletic Director, was a four-year athlete in cross country and track and field at Kutztown State
