PARKING INFORMATION
Parking is free at Schoonover Stadium. Parking is located on campus center drive just off of Route 261.  A limited amount of handicap spaces are and are first come, first serve.

Aisle Traffic/Section
Guests are urged to arrive at their seats prior to the first pitch. As a courtesy to other guests, please remain at your seat until the play has ended.
Alcohol Policy
Outside alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted in Schoonover Stadium. Guests identified with alcohol inside the stadium may be ejected and will have the alcohol confiscated. Possession and consumption of alcohol in the stadium parking areas are subject to the laws and regulations of the State of Ohio and/or City of Kent. Police and Liquor Control Agents patrol these areas and enforce all applicable laws.
Cameras
Cameras are permitted in Schoonover Stadium. At no time may photography interfere with the action on the field or other guests.

Concessions
The concession stand is located in the southwest corner of the baseball clubhouse.
Credit Cards/FlashCards
Credit cards are not accepted at Schoonover Stadium. Student FlashCards are accepted at the concession stands.

Emergencies and Evacuation Procedures
In the event of a serious emergency, all event staff, ushers, law enforcement and fire and emergency personnel are available to assist guests, including those with disabilities. Information could also be provided over the public address system and on the stadium scoreboard.
Game Programs
Game programs are available in the stairwell leading to the stands.
Gates Open
Schoonover Stadium gates open 90 minutes prior to first pitch.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located in ticket office. Any unclaimed items will be moved to the ticket office in the MAC Center. You may inquire about an item by calling (330) 672.2244.
Lost Persons
Any report of a lost person will be acted on immediately by event personnel to locate and return the person to his or her parent(s), guardian(s) or companion(s). Guests should contact any Law Enforcement Officer, Usher or Event Staff for prompt initiation of lost person search procedures. If a parent, guardian or companion is not located, the lost person will be taken to the base of the press box for further efforts in locating the parent(s), guardian(s) or companion(s).
Medical Emergency
If assistance is needed in the stands, please contact the nearest concession worker, law enforcement officer or Kent State event staff.
Merchandise
Authentic Kent State merchandise may be purchased at the base of the stairs located near the Schoonover Stadium Clubhouse. For additional merchandise, please visit www.kentstatesports.com.
National Anthem
The National Anthem is performed prior to every home game at Schoonover Stadium. To inquire about performing the National Anthem please call (330) 672-8545.
Pets/Service Animals
Animals are permitted on the Schoonover Stadium Grounds. However, animals, except for trained K-9 dogs or service animals assisting disabled visitors, are not permitted in the stands.
Playing Field
Guests may not enter the playing field at any time before or during the game. VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO ARREST AND MAY BE PROSECUTED.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted in Schoonover Stadium: Alcohol, Balls, Banners, Weapons, Drugs, Fireworks, Food, Frisbees, Irritants, Knives, Televisions or Radios without headsets, and Video Recorders.
Prohibited Behavior
Examples of prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to: throwing objects of any kind; demonstrating unruly behavior; attempting to enter the field of play; engaging in behavior that endangers the safety of student-athletes, coaches, officials or other guests;Â removing Olga Mural Field turf; and/or taunting public safety officials. Consequences for guests exhibiting prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to: loss of ticket buying privileges, ejection from the Stadium, and/or arrest.
Public Announcements
Special announcements on the public address system are limited to medical and police emergencies.
Radios and Televisions
Handheld radios and televisions are permitted as long as you listen with an earpiece or headphone.
Re-Entry
Guests are permitted to re-enter Schoonover Stadium. They must receive the proper stamp to do so.
Restrooms
Men's and Women's restrooms are located on the south side of the clubhouse.
Security Checks
All bags, containers or persons are subject to search. Cooperation with game management and security personnel will help maintain Schoonover Stadium as a safe and secure environment for all guests.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all areas within the gates of Schoonover Stadium.
Solicitation/Literature
Setting up a promotional space and/or distributing banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, folders, handbills, leaflets, notices, pamphlets, posters, stickers, or any other written, printed and/or painted materials in or around Schoonover Stadium and campus without the permission of Kent State University Department of Athletics is prohibited.
Tailgating
All tailgating activities in the Stadium parking areas are subject to the laws and regulations of the State of Ohio and/or the City of Kent Police. The use of propane tanks in tailgating is encouraged. Glass and kegs are not permitted in the parking lots.
Parking spaces are available on the day of the game on a first-come, first-served basis. Stadium parking lots open three hours prior to game time.
Umbrellas
Guests use umbrellas in the seating areas of Schoonover Stadium, permitting they do not interfere with sightlines of other guests.
Usher
Guests should contact the nearest usher for assistance in seating locations, medical emergencies, or for anything else that might make the visit more enjoyable. Ushers are located at near the base of the main stairs to the grandstands.
Water Fountains
A water fountain is located at the south side of the clubhouse.
