The Varsity K Club
The Varsity K Club strives to unite former student-athletes, cheer and dance members, athletic trainers and student managers for the mutual benefit of Kent State University and its student-athletes. Being a part of the Varsity K Club offers unique opportunities to stay connected with Kent State Athletics, return to campus and staying informed on Golden Flashes academics and athletics.
New for the 2025-26 academic and athletic year: There is no membership fee for active Varsity K membership. As long as an individual meets the criteria of being a former student-athlete, cheer/dance members, athletic trainers or student managers, they will be counted as an active member of the Varsity K!

- Exclusive quarterly e-newsletter
- Invitation to purchase a discounted ticket to the Varsity K All Sport Reunion at the Homecoming football game and an invite to purchase a discounted ticket to Varsity K Spring ReunionÂ
- Receive at least a 20 percent discount on all season seats per sport and secure the alumni group rate for single-game tickets, which is between 20-25 percent off, depending on the event
- Invitation to Further on Flashes Networking/Career Night events. This is an opportunity to engage with current student-athletes and provide internship or career opportunities to our Golden Flashes
To ensure you receive Varsity K communications, please update your communication preferences and your affiliation as an alumna/us. This will allow an opportunity to select which sport(s) you played or choose other and let us know if you were an athletic trainer or student manager.
