
Chris Baker ('86)
Ice Hockey
Baker was a two-year ice hockey captain in 1985 and 1986. As a freshman in 1983, he was named the team’s Most Valuable Defenseman. He is the all-time Kent State leader in assists with 107, second all-time in goals with 77, and second all-time in total points at 184. Baker helped lead the program from six wins in his freshman season to 21 wins as a senior.

Jessica Carmichael ('11)
Softball
Carmichael enjoyed an array of team success in her four-year career. The Flashes won the 2008 MAC regular season and tournament title as she earned MAC All-Freshman Team honors. She was named to the All-MAC Second Team in 2009, helping the team win the MAC East before leading the team to a MAC Regular Season Championship in 2010 as she earned first-team all-conference honors. Carmichael is second in program history in at-bats with 641, third in RBIs with 132, and tied third in home runs with 36.

Dior Delophont ('16)
Track & Field
Delophont accumulated eight NCAA Championship appearances in her four-year collegiate career. She tallied four USTFCCCA First Team All-American honors and three Second Team All-American recognitions. As a member of five teams that claimed MAC Championship titles, Delophont won 12 MAC titles in individual events. She is a six-time triple jump champion, four-time high jump champion, and two-time long jump champion in the MAC. Delophont ranks first in program history in indoor high jump and outdoor triple jump while also holding the second-best indoor triple jump and outdoor high jump.

Josée Doyon (B.A.'15, B.A.'16)
Golf
Doyon earned All-MAC First Team honors all four years of her Kent State career from 2013-2016. She earned MAC Golfer of the Year honors in 2015 after winning the individual title at the MAC Championship. Her three wins in the 2014-15 season are tied for the fifth most in a single season in program history, and she is 16th in program history in career scoring average at 75.42. Doyon’s 66 at the 2015 Briar’s Creek Invitational is tied for the ninth-lowest round in program history.

Kyle Hallock ('11)
Baseball
Hallock was a leader on the 2011 MAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship team, winning MAC Pitcher of the Year and being named to the All-MAC First Team that same year. His 1.95 ERA and ten wins in 2011 both ranked first in the MAC and top 30 in the NCAA, good enough to earn Collegiate Baseball Third Team All-American honors. He finished his career ranked among Kent State history at fourth in innings pitched with 297 and fifth in strikeouts with 237 before being selected by the Astros in the 10th round of the 2011 MLB draft.

Eugene Jarvis ('10)
Football
Jarvis served as a four-year captain of the football team, setting the program’s single-season rushing record in 2008 with 1,669 yards en route to an All-MAC First Team selection. He finished his Kent State career ranked third in program history in career rushing yards with 3,721, sixth in career touchdowns with 30, and fourth in career all-purpose yards with 4,698. He earned the team’s MVP (Rittichier Award) in 2008 and the team’s Ramser Award in 2007 and 2010.

Eric Lauer ('16)
Baseball
Lauer became just the second Consensus First Team All-American in program history in 2016, also earning Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Year, College Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher of the Year, and MAC Pitcher of the Year honors in the same season. He led the NCAA with a 0.69 ERA in 2016, helping lead the team to a MAC regular season title. In addition to throwing the 11th no-hitter in Kent State history, Lauer ranks third in program history in strikeouts with 292 and fifth in innings pitched with 270.1. He was drafted 25th overall in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Padres.

Ian Miller ('16)
Wrestling
Miller is the only Kent State wrestler to ever record three top-six finishes at the NCAA Championships, qualifying four times throughout his career. He is a three-time MAC champion, recording a .837 career winning percentage. After earning a MAC Freshman of the Year honor in 2012, Miller proceeded to earn three consecutive All-American selections in 2014, 2015, and 2016. He concluded his Kent State career tied for the third most wins in program history at 128.
