Kent State Athletics Announces New Partnership with Heat and Frost Insulators of Local 84
Heat and Frost Insulators of Local 84 are highly skilled tradespeople who specialize in the installation and maintenance of mechanical insulation systems. They work on commercial and industrial projects applying insulation to piping, duct work, boilers, refrigeration systems and other mechanical equipment. Their work improves energy efficiency, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, protects workers from extreme temperatures and noise and ensures fire safety.
Members of Local 84 are trained through state-of-the-art apprenticeship programs and ongoing education. Their members bring professionalism, craftsmanship and a commitment to safety to every job site. By promoting energy conservation and sustainability, they help lower operating costs for businesses, protect the environment and improve quality of life in the communities where they live and work.
