2009 Freshman Season
• Appeared in seven games, throwing 10.1 innings andstriking out 14
• Gave up nine earned runs for a 7.84 ERA
• In the summer, went 1-2 in 13 appearances with 14strikeouts in 15 innings for the Southern Ohio Copperheads.
Prior to Kent State
• As a pitcher, helped Walsh Jesuit win the Ohio HighSchool Division II State Baseball Tournament in 2006 and 2008
• Recorded a 1.90 ERA his senior season
• Tallied a no-hitter vs. Cleveland Benidictine
• Named team’s most improved player his junioryear
• Recorded the lowest ERA of any pitcher for the Warriorshis sophomore year
• Teammate with fellow teammates Ross Brunello and DavidStarn at Walsh Jesuit
• Coached by Chris Kaczmar while in high school
• Also played for the Ohio Hurricanes.
