• Drafted in the 5th round of the MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers
• Redshirted due to NCAA policy
PRIOR TO KENT STATE
• Played at LSU. Tigers were Regional and Super Regional Champions in 2015 and Regional Champions in 2016
• Threw 8.1 innings in seven appearances (three starts) in 2016
• Finished 0-1 with a 7.56 ERA with 11 strikeouts and four walks
• Named to the SEC All-Academic Honor Roll every year
• Was the Illinois Player of the Year in 2014 while setting records in ERA (.22), wins (10), career strikeouts and career wins at Lemont Township High School
• Team won the state championship in 2014
• Also played for the Illinois Sparks

• His father played basketball at Angelo State University
• Enjoys golf, traveling and spending time with family and friends
• Lists his dad as the person he most admires because he is a great role model on and off the field, has taught him work ethic and has helped him through the toughest moments

• Pre-game ritual is to have the same breakfast and wear the same thing every game
• Would like to visit Bora Bora
• Transferred to Kent State to work with the coaching staff and be a part of the culture
• Majoring in communications with a minor in business
