Prior to Kent State

•Transferred to Kent State from Maryland. Appeared in 38 games and made 28 starts for the Terrapins in 2010, batting .226, collecting 21 hits -- including three doubles -- and driving in five runs.

•Competed under head coach Andy Maddix at North Allegheny High School, earning all-section honors following his junior and senior seasons and helping lead the Tigers to a third-place finish in the PIAA playoffs as well as a WPIAL title in 2009.
