2010 Sophomore Season Highlights
•Appeared in 48 games with 51 starts. Also made 19 appearances on the mound.
•Finished third on the team with a .354 average, tallying 70 hits with 15 doubles, six home runs and 46 RBIs and scoring 51 runs.
•Posted a 1-2 pitching mark out of the bullpen with a 4.44 ERA, 17 strikeouts and four saves.
•Recorded 23 multi-hit games, including a season-best four hits twice. Cracked a double and three singles with two runs scored in game one of a doubleheader at Buffalo (4/24), a 16-4 KSU victory. Went 4-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in the Diamond Classic at Akron (5/20) as Kent State won, 9-2.
•Tallied nine games with multiple RBIs, including five instances with at least three RBIs. Drove in six runs against Pittsburgh (4/7) and smacked a personal season-high two home runs. Pushed across five runs -- including a three-run round tripper -- at Akron (5/22) in a 20-7 KSU route. Went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs at Pittsburgh (4/20) as the Flashes won, 16-3. Belted a three-run homer in a KSU's 4-3 triumph at Miami (5/8). Drove in three runs and cracked a base hit and a home run in the sixth inning as the Golden Flashes batted around vs. UC Irvine (5/5) in the NCAA Los Angeles Regional.
•Recorded KSU's first save of 2010, working 1.2 innings and striking out one as KSU topped Western Kentucky (2/19), 13-10.
•Earned the pitching win in game one of a doubleheader at Wake Forest (2/27) after tossing two frames of relief duty to help KSU to an 11-5 win.
•Tossed 1.2 scoreless frames and did not surrender a hit against Penn State (3/30), striking out two as Kent State won, 9-8.
•Fanned a personal season-high three batters in 2.2 innings against Central Michigan (4/18).
•Worked two-thirds of an inning at Youngstown State (4/27) and was credited with the save in a 5-2 KSU triumph.
•Fired one scoreless inning and did not give up a hit against Ohio (4/30) to pick up his fourth save as Kent State edged the Bobcats, 5-4.
•Competed for the Cotuit Kettlers of the Cape Cod League in summer ball, recording one win and 15 strikeouts in 15.1 innings of work as the squad captured the league's championship.
2009 Freshman Season
•Appeared in 20 games with two starts as designated hitter.
•Went 2-0 and allowed 10 earned runs in 10 innings of work for a 9.00 ERA.
•After putting the first two runners on in the NCAA tournament against Oral Roberts (5/31), he struck out the side to get out of the jam unscathed.
•Received his first collegiate win against Duquesne (3/18), allowing only one unearned run on two hits in two innings of work in KSU’s 7-5 win.
•Earned his second win in Kent State’s miraculous seven-run ninth inning comeback against Miami (5/16) in the regular season finale for the Golden Flashes, a 12-11 win.
•Appeared in the infield and on the mound for the Licking County Settlers of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. Finished third on the team with a .319 batting average and led the team with seven doubles in the regular season. Led the team in pitching with a 0.56 ERA in five appearances with two starts. Went 1-0 and only allowed three earned runs in 16 innings pitched while striking out 11. Named to Second Team All-Great Lakes League as a utility player and also played in the league’s all-star game.
Prior to Kent State
•Played at Archbishop Hoban High School under head coach Scott Kuenig.
•Named a 2008 Under Armour Preseason All-American.
•Named First Team All-North Coast League team after batting .494 and recording a 4-1 record with a 0.95 ERA as a pitcher his senior season after being named honorable mention All-NCL his junior year.
•Also lettered two times in basketball for the Knights
•Also played for the Stark County Junior Terriers.

•Born March 14, 1990.
•Parents are Scott and Tawnia McMillen. Siblings are Cory, Cody, Kolin and Kiana
•Father played baseball at Marietta College.
•Was a member of SADD and was a peer counselor while at Archbishop Hoban in addition to volunteering at a nursing home.
•Major is pre-med/biology.
