• Pitched a no-hitter with 28 straight scoreless innings during his senior year.
• Earned Akron Beacon-Journal Athlete of the Week and Cleveland Plain Dealer Player To Watch recognition.
• Also competed for Premier Baseball Academy under head coach Robert Ferns and played for Team Ohio in the Heartland Classic in Norman, Okla.
• Earned National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF) World Series All-Tournament Team honors in 2011.
