PRIOR TO KENT STATE
• Went 20-6 with 160 strikeouts in his four-year career at Tallmadge High School under coach Kenny Linn.
• Made Second Team All-League as a sophomore.
• Was Pre-Season Under Armour All-American and Second Team All-State as a junior
• Named to All-Region and All-League First Team senior year
• Won Suburban League in 2009 and was District Champion in 2011 and 2012.
• Also lettered three times in basketball and twice in football.
• Played fall ball for the Midwest Redbirds and summer ball for the Ohio Elite.

• Born February 7, 1994 in Ashland, Ohio
• Parents are Tom and Karen Linder. Sibling is Thomas. Karen is the head softball coach at Kent State.
• Grandfather Dick Fishbaugh played Minor League baseball and coached baseball at Otterbein
• Enjoys playing video games and watching movies
• Lists his grandma as the person he admires most
• Is creeped out by snakes, spiders and sharks
• Would like to visit the United Kingdom
