Earned five letters for indoor track and field and outdoor track and field and four letters in cross country under head coaches Mike VanAuker and Jim Shoemaker at Greece Athena in Rochester, N.Y....participated in 11 state meets, won seven county titles, won six sectional titles and set six school records...won a sportsmanship award at the outdoor track and field state meet in 2009...was recognized with the highest GPA of all teams in the New York Schools.

Born Oct. 17, 1990...daughter of Tom and Janie Sawnor...has an older sister, Julie...was a Varsity Club officer at Greece Athena...also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and in a nursing home while in high school...majoring in sports administration.
