At 21^st Century Charter, Gholston averaged 21.6 points and 10.6 rebounds per game as a senior and led the squad to an Indiana High School Elite Eight appearance.
Finished 21-7 his senior year and made an appearance to the regional championship game against Fort Wayne Blackhawk.
Finished his high school career with three sectional championships, two regional championships, and two accompanying trips to semistate.
