KSU Academic Athletics Excellence Award … Member of the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society ... Played in all 34 games making nine starts … Averaged 6.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per game … Ranked second on the team with 48 three-pointers made … Ended his career ranked ninth all-time at KSU with 143 career three-pointers and eighth all-time with 128 games played … Had a 1:6 assist:turnover ratio.
Summer 2009 In Italy
Averaged 12.5 points over four games ... Shot 50.0 percent (10-20) from three ... Scored a team high 22 points and had four threes in a 95-79 win over Virtus Siena.
2008-09 Junior Season
MAC All-Academic Team Honorable Mention ... Member of the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society ... Averaged 3.9 points while playing in all 34 games ... Shot 35.5 percent from three (33-93) ... Had a 1.8:1 assist:turnover ratio ... Made 70.4 percent from the foul line (19-27) ... Had a career high 40 assists on the year, to more than double his previous career best of 16 ... Made 78.6 percent (33-42) from the foul line, including 80.0 percent (16-20) in the final five minutes and overtime ... Was an Academic All-MAC team nominee ... Scored double figures six times ... Had 12 games with two or more three-pointers made ... Hit two second half three-pointers and finished with eight points in a 50-39 win over Miami (Feb. 4) that clinch the MAC East title for the sixth time in eight years ... 2006-07 Freshman Season:
Saw action in 25 games with one start, the first in his career, against Duke (Dec. 19) at Cameron Indoor Stadium ... Averaged 3.2 points and 1.1 rebounds ... Set numerous career highs in a solid performance vs. IPFW (Dec. 9) including points with 15, three pointers made and attempted at 5-of-10, and minutes played with 24 ... Finished third on the team with 19 three-pointers made and second in three-point percentage at .373 hitting on 19-of-51 attempts ... Scored in double figures for the second time on the season vs. Shawnee State (Dec. 29) where he notched 11 and grabbed a career high seven rebounds ... Hit at least two three’s in a game five times ... Was third on the team in free throw percentage, shooting 12-of-17 from the charity stripe for .706.
2005-06:
Was redshirted his first season at Kent State.
Prior to Kent State:
As a senior at Plum was an All-WPIAL AAAA selection, averaging 20.6 points per game ... Played in the JOTS All-American Classic, scoring 16 points for the Pennsylvania All-Stars in a game against the Eastern All-Stars ... As a junior, was one of the top scorers in Western Pennsylvania, averaging 20.9 points per contest, hitting 88 three-pointers and shooting 44 percent from beyond the arc ... Connected on nine three pointers in a game ... Was coached by Ron Richards at Plum.
