Juju Seki was hired in November of 2024 as an Athletic Trainer where she works with the men’s basketball and men’s golf teams.
Juju joined Kent State after gaining experience in both professional and collegiate sports. Most recently, she worked with the Cincinnati Reds as a Certified Athletic Training Intern through the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers’ Society.
Juju earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton. She is also on the public relations committee of the Japan Athletic Trainers’ Organization where she helps promote the athletic training profession in Japan.
Originally from Japan, she is fluent in both Japanese and English. Fun fact: At 4’8”, Juju works with the tallest athletes on campus.
