- Was an All-Conference, All-County, All-District and All-Region performer all three years of high school competition
- Was named to the All-State First Team once and was an All-State Honorable Mention once
- Twice included in the Grand Rapids Area Dream Team
- Had a .473 batting average senior year and hit 12 doubles, 10 triples and 5 home runs
- Was perfect in the field senior year, sporting a 1.000 fielding percentage and no errors
