Heidi Marshall was hired to the staff of the Kent State University Soccer team as an assistant coach in the spring of 2025. Marshall is a program alum and recent graduate, serving as Kent State's primary goalkeeper in the 2024 season.
Originally from San Diego, California, Marshall spent her entire four-year collegiate career at Kent State, appearing in 24 games in goal for the Flashes. She started all 19 games at goalkeeper during her senior season last year, helping Kent State post a 9-7-3 record and reach the MAC Tournament semifinals. Marshall tallied 55 saves and five shutouts in her playing career as a Golden Flash.
Marshall earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the College of Communication and Information at Kent State in Spring 2025.
