Allison Kortowich joined the Kent State women’s lacrosse program as an assistant coach in September 2024.
In her first season as a coach with the Golden Flashes, Kortowich helped the team post six wins, garnering three All-MAC selections and a MAC All-Freshman Team honoree. The team's five non-conference wins in 2025 are the highest mark in program history.
Kortowich played for the Kent State women’s lacrosse program from 2020 to 2023, helping lead the Flashes to their first-ever MAC regular season championship in her senior year. She started 41 games throughout her four-year career, capped with an All-MAC Second Team selection in 2023.
After her playing career, Kortowich spent one season as an assistant coach at Mount Union, where she helped the Purple Raiders win a share of the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title.
