A veteran of the department, Ragin began his tenure with the Kent State Equipment staff in 2002 as the Head Equipment Manager. Ragin oversees all of the daily equipment services operations for the department and provides leadership for the equipment services staff. In this role, Ragin primarily works with football, baseball, and men’s & women’s golf.

Prior to joining Kent State, Ragin started working on the equipment staff with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1995 and elevating to Assistant Equipment Manager.

Ragin has three sons: Bishop, Deacon and Churchyll.
