Elizabeth Toth was promoted to chief of staff for Kent State Football in June 2026 after serving as the assistant athletic director for football operations since July 2024. In her role, Toth oversees the day-to-day operations of the football program while serving as a strategic advisor to the head coach.
Originally from Euclid, Ohio, Toth has built a reputation as a highly respected leader in collegiate football operations. Her passion for the game, commitment to organizational excellence, and dedication to student-athlete development have been central to her success throughout her career.
Before joining Kent State, Toth served as the director of football operations at Southern Illinois University, where she worked under head coach Nick Hill. In that role, she managed the day-to-day operations of the football program, including team travel, scheduling, recruiting logistics, and player support services.
Before her time at Southern Illinois, Toth spent two seasons as the director of football operations and player development at Quincy University. There, she played a key role in enhancing the student-athlete experience, overseeing football operations, and implementing player development initiatives. During her tenure, she earned a master’s degree in Education Leadership in May 2023.
Toth’s foundation in football operations was established at Eastern Michigan University, where she spent four years gaining experience in recruiting, operations, video, and equipment management. Her involvement across multiple areas of the program provided a comprehensive understanding of collegiate athletics and helped develop the leadership skills she brings to her role today.
Toth graduated from Eastern Michigan University in April 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and a minor in Public Relations. She continues to be a rising leader in college athletics, recognized for her expertise in football operations, organizational leadership, and student-athlete support.
