Erin Anderson joined the Kent State University athletic staff in November 2025 and currently serves as the Assistant Director for Student-Athlete Academic Services. In her role, she serves as the academic counselor for gymnastics, lacrosse, and wrestling.
Prior to Kent State, Anderson spent 17 years working at the secondary level as a learning specialist. A proud native of Kent, Ohio, Anderson is a fourth-generation Kent State alumna, following in the footsteps of her great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother. While earning her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, she competed as a member of the Golden Flashes’ Cross Country and Track and Field programs. She later earned her Intervention Specialist licensure from Notre Dame College and a Master of Science in Athletic Administration from Ohio University. Erin currently resides in Streetsboro with her partner Randy and her Shiba Inu Lotte.
