Karter Kesner returned to Kent State as an assistant equipment manager in January 2023.

A 2022 graduate of Kent State, Karter works with the baseball team, golf teams and women's lacrosse team. As an undergrad, Kesner worked four years as a student manager for the Kent State football team.

He rejoins the Golden Flashes after stops in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens where he interned in the Ravens' training camp. He also worked as an equipment intern with the Arizona Cardinals for the 2022 season.
