Kate Lewis joined Kent State Athletic Advancement, as the Director Athletic Advancement Operations. Native to Renton, Washington, Kate first moved to Ohio to receive her B.A in Sport Management from Otterbein University, where she was also a member of the softball team. Ater graduation she moved to El Paso, Texas where she worked as the Community Relations & Promotions Supervisor for the El Paso Chihuahuas, the Triple-A affiliate for the San Diego Padres. In El Paso, Kate managed Chihuahuas Volunteer Pack presented by Helen of Troy, the Chico Kids Club presented by Southwest Dairy Farmers, El Paso Chihuahuas Foundation 50/50 Raffle presented by Texas Gas Service, Chihuahuas Career Prep presented by El Paso Electric, and the Chihuahuas All-Star Scholarship in Memory of Yolanda Arriola. Kate returned to Ohio in August of 2022.
