- Title:
- Assistant Coach
Tanner Ridgely joined Kent State field hockey as an assistant coach in August 2025.
Ridgely previously served as an assistant coach at Towson, where she helped the Tigers to their most wins (7), goals scored (31), and attacking corners (100) since 2010 last season. Her time as an assistant at Towson was her second stint with the program after previously serving as a volunteer assistant in 2021.
Prior to returning to Towson, Ridgely served as an assistant coach at Dartmouth from 2022 to 2023. The Big Green doubled their win total during her second season on staff as the program recorded its most wins since 2018 and averaged at least two goals per game for the first time since that same year. Dartmouth had one student-athlete earn NFHCA All-Region recognition each season and totaled nine All-Ivy League selections during her tenure.
She has also served as head coach for various age groups at the Warhawks Field Hockey Club, which is among the best in the state of Maryland, since 2020.
Ridgely was a three-year student-athlete at James Madison University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport and recreation management with a minor in general business in 2021.
