Brian Grubich currently serves as Assistant Athletics Director, Director of Philanthropy. In this role he continues his work as a philanthropic advisor securing funds for the athletic department’s most immediate needs as well as enhancing the robust endowment program.
Grubich previously worked for Kent State from 2018-20 as assistant director for the Golden Flashes Club. He rejoined the university in August 2021 and served as director of the Golden Flashes Club before joining the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. Grubich then served as Associate Director of Athletic Advancement where he worked to secure support from alumni, donors and friends of Kent State to ensure the success of our athletic programs and most importantly, our student athletes - both in competition and in the classroom.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing, as well as a Master of Arts in Sport and Recreation Management, both from Kent State University. Brian currently resides in Mogadore with his wife, Alicia, and two dogs Murphy and Marlo.
